Once you've lived in a mountain town where the day begins and ends with the outdoors, you can't truly live anywhere else. Everything from the mountain sports to the craft beers seem to hit a bit different. Only in Boulder could half the town have already run the equivalent of a marathon by 6am. Or spent their Saturday morning riding up Flagstaff so they could enjoy a muffin with their morning coffee at Amante. Only in Boulder could you impress your friends with a performance from the Zip Code Guy as you made your way to buy a new Patagonia. Or bring a smile to your kid's face because they got to play on a playground of boulders in the center of the Pearl Street Mall.
